Fall Leaves

I made this card for two different challenges.  I wanted to use my leaf stamp but alas I can't seem to locate it so instead I cut our leaves.

Mojo Monday Week 112 Challenge

This is the current week's Mojo Monday challenge. I immediately thought of a Christmas card when I saw this sketch.

Let's face it, with only 7 weeks to Christmas, most sketches will be bringing to mind Christmas cards.

I started my card off fine but I thought there was too much white space at the top so I added the flowers but honestly, I am not completely pleased with the turnout.

Any positive suggestions would be appreciated.

Card Patterns Sketch 40

So here's the first of my three challenges for the week.

I hadn't intended to turn the card sideways but when I finally decided on the stamp to use, I found it simply wouldn't work. So, sideways the card went.

Break's Over

I took a break from scrapbooking in June after I spent more than two months working on a retirement scrapbook for a dear co-worker. While I enjoyed working on the book, I was unfortunately out of creative juices for a while.

Recently, I started feeling the creativeness trying to break free but not quite ready to plunge back into the scrapbooking world, I have only been perusing the internet for inspiration blogs. Particularily scrapbooking challenges.

Since I am now unemployed, (thanks Orrin B. Hayes, Inc.), I vow to participate in at least 3 challenges in a week.

Bra and Panty Card

Tomorrow is my co-worker's birthday. Normally, the office girls 'give' one card to the lucky birthday girl...but this will be her last birthday with us. You see, she's retiring in May. Therefore to give her something to remember ME by (yes, I am that narcisstic. lol). What do ya think?

Ooh Ooh, Pick Me!!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love mice...and House Mouse are my favorite stamps. And...

My favorite challenge site is looking for 2 new DT members for a 12 week stint. I want to be one. A LOT. Why? It's not because I think my work is so very great. In reality, I often find myself envious of others' designs. Not necessarily the entire project but various pieces, such as chalking flower edges. Such a simple thing and the flowers have such a 'pop' but I don't always think of those things. Having a weekly challenge, that I have made a commitment to, would be such a great way to improve my paper crafting.

I was recently turned onto this website that has weekly card challenges, because let's face it, every now and then, we all could use some inspiration. This is the inspiration.

I'm not a particular fan of square cards, so I just used a regular card for my interpretation.

I absolutely LOVE these House Mouse stamps.
